Eric Gray
Principal
Millhouse

Eric Gray co-founded Millhouse in 2003 as a vehicle to seek out underperforming real estate assets, development and conversion opportunities in highly desirable urban locations throughout New York City.

In 1996 Mr. Gray was hired as the first employee at Taconic Investment Partners LLC, now a national real estate owner and developer, based in New York City. He was dynamically involved in acquiring, financing, developing, recapitalizing, and asset managing over $2 billion in real estate transactions during his tenure. Major transactions included the acquisition and redevelopment of 111 8th Ave, now the NYC headquarters of Google; who subsequently acquired the asset in 2010 for ~$2 billion. During Mr. Gray’s employment period, Taconic grew from an asset management firm responsible for one 350,000 square foot New York City office building and two suburban multi-family properties into an owner/developer of more than 8.5 million square feet of commercial and residential properties nationwide.

Prior to Taconic, Mr. Gray worked at Time Equities, Inc., an International real estate owner and developer. Mr. Gray earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and attended the Masters in the Real Estate Investment and Development program at New York University.
