Robert Deckey is a real estate industry executive. Since 2016, he has worked as managing director and senior investment officer at Invesco Real Estate (IRE), the Dallas-based subsidiary of Atlanta-based asset management firm Invesco. The parent company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol IVZ. From 2002 to 2016, Deckey was the chief investment officer at George Comfort & Sons, a New York City-based real estate investment firm, brokerage, and property management company. From 1996 to 2001, he worked as a director at Citigroup. From 1992 to 1996, he worked as vice president of real estate investment banking at JP Morgan. From 1989 to 1992, he worked as an associate at AEW Investment Management in Boston. In 1989, Deckey received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. In 1985, he received a BA in engineering and economics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
