Kenneth M. Morrison is the President of Lemor Realty Corporation, a second-generation affordable and mixed income housing developer, asset manager and property manager in business for over 30 years. He co-founded Lemor Development Group in 2013 which focuses on real estate investments, consulting and development. He is a licensed NYS Real Estate Broker and a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM). Mr. Morrison’s companies have worked with various municipal agencies including NYS HCR, NYC HDC, NYC HPD, City of Newark, NJ and HUD. Mr. Morrison has successfully developed affordable housing for sale and rent throughout the City of New York. In 2019, Lemor Development along with other development partners submitted an RPF for the “New York City Housing Authority’s Manhattan Bundle”. This portfolio consists of over 1700 units of housing located in various neighborhoods throughout the borough of Manhattan. This RAD conversion will be one of the largest in the country. Lemor has also been awarded 13 City of New York owned sites slated for affordable sales and rentals through HPD’s NIHOP RFP as a joint venture with Iris Development. Currently Lemor has various development projects in construction including The Robeson, a 79- unit new construction development located in Harlem on Lenox Avenue; Mt. Hope Renaissance a 515-unit preservation development in the South Bronx in partnership with NCV LLC and Mount Hope Housing; Tucker View Apartments, a 42-unit new construction development in Newark, NJ and Balton Commons a 37 unit new construction development partially financed with Low Income Tax Credits. With a strong commitment towards developing affordable housing, the Lemor team currently has various development projects in the pipeline throughout the New York City region. Ken and the Lemor team have recently ventured into new markets with the purchase of the Retreat at Baywood a 120-unit housing complex located in Clayton County, Georgia and the team currently is seeking new investment opportunities in the South East region of the United States.

Mr. Morrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Entrepreneurship. He maintains membership in several professional and civic organizations and currently sits on several boards including the Bradhurst Merchants Association where he was a founding member, Seventh Avenue Head Start, NYSAFAH, serves as the Chairman of the Greater Harlem Real Estate Board, Inc and he is an active member of the Prince Hall Masons. He has been active in promoting affordable housing and community-based initiatives through collaborations with the City of New York and various organizations.
